Envision Tech uses the E2 Shop System to manage our shop activities and duties. This system allows us to track parts through every step of the manufacturing process, from quoting to delivery. It also allows us to manage inventory to support customers with kan ban delivery requirements.
Product traceability is very important to Envision Tech and its customers. When employees begin working on a job they simply scan a bar-coded job traveler which keeps track of their time on the job. This data helps us maintain accurate job costing and production efficiency as well as material traceability and process certifications. Production schedules are automatically updated based on parts completed and hours recorded.
Working with Surfcam
Surfcam, created by Surfware, is our chosen software for CNC program creation. The system allows our experienced employees to provide cutting edge technology at a fraction of the cost.
Utilizing the Kanban system
Envision Tech utilizes the Japanese idea of Kanban, a term that represents a "visual record" that drives the manufacturing organization and process. It is a highly efficient and effective production system that creates an optimum manufacturing environment that leads to increased production and reduced production time. This is vital to Envision Tech's operation as it typically ships over 50,000 units per month.
